MLS - World Cup squad breakdown

U.S. coach Bruce Arena is expected to name up to 12 MLS players on the American squad, with the rest coming from Europe.

The New England Revolution could lose five players, including Twellman and Dempsey. The Revolution's Avery John could be playing for Trinidad and Tobago.

Kansas City also has five players possibly leaving, including Josh Wolff and Eddie Johnson. Scott Sealy could play for Trinidad.

Mexico names a 26-man squad that does not include Blanco but does include one MLS player.
