Bobby Convey a student of history

Over at U.S. Soccer’s Studio 90 program, they got a daily show from Germany.

They get the players in for a chat and ask four questions in a segment that’s called “Back Four”

One June 7, one of the questions put to guests Eddie Pope and Bobby Convey was “Who scored the second goal in the MLS? We all know the first one was Eric Wynalda, but who was the second?”

Eddie and Bobby said "Uhm…. Hmm…. " (It was a hard question.)

The interviewer said, “Here’s a clue: It was an own goal….”

So Bobby Convey offers up “Jeff Agoos ? ”

(I couldn’t see if Eddie kept a straight face.)

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing. If Reading ever let him go, the guy could do standup, easy.
